manufactured in our Gloucestershire factory or by local sub-contractors

Our biomass pellet plants are capable of producing wood pellets to meet strict European pellet standards. Each plant is designed to meet customers bespoke needs and can be from 250kgs – 2000kgs per hour and will run on an automatic basis for up to 22 hours per day. Other biomass can also be pelleted such as various straws, miscanthus, reed and digestate from anaerobic digesters.

Our plants are significantly more environmentally friendly than large commercial plants as they are normally sited where the feedstock is generated and production is designed to meet local needs. This enables a massive reduction in fossil fuel collection/delivery usage. All of our plants are manufactured in our Gloucestershire factory or by local sub-contractors. This enables us to provide a comprehensive service and breakdown facility that would be difficult with imported equipment.

Move towards biomass fuel is gathering momentum

Whilst many people talk about reducing their carbon footprints, actively investing in such technologies is less common. Doing this to improve the profits of an enterprise is even more responsible.
The move towards biomass fuel is gathering momentum. This can be seen in many ways, not least in the forecast that 200,000 new jobs at different levels of engineering will be created in the next five years, according to the Tomorrow’s Global Talent Government Report from a few years ago.
The report makes it clear that British industry will have to move with the times, and plan now for this demand. The coalition government has pledged to support the green initiatives from the previous regime, and this will need an increased supply of graduates and qualified engineers to satisfy the trend.
Green skills are essentially based on traditional science skills – maths, engineering, science and technology. So students considering which subjects to choose with a bright future are being given some strong pointers.
